STEW PORK BELLY with CHESTNUTs (Chinese Mushrooms)

(Cooking Time: 50 mins or over 70 mins)

[ Food Ingrediants ]

400g Pork Belly

100g Cheshnuts / (5 pcs of chinese mushrooms)

20g Rock Sugars

2 Tsp Osyter Sauce

2pcs  Gingers (thicken pieces)

1/2 Onions

2 pcs Spring Onions (white and green colour part) 

 

[ PREPARING BEFORE COOKING METHOD ] 

HOW TO PREPARE THE PORK BELLY BEFORE COOKING:

1. Remove the cover skin or hair of the PORK BELLY

2. Use Boiling Water with Steam, ADD Little Spring Onion and Little Ginger, to boil the PORK BELLY for 5 mins

3. PUT the PORK BELLY into the Cold or Iced water for 1 mins, Let it Cool Down

4. Cut into small pieces

 

HOW TO PREPARE THE CHESTNUTS BEFORE COOKING:

5. Buy the CHESTNUTS WITHOUT SHELLS 

6. BOIL THE HOT WATER with STEAM and PUT the CHESTNUTS to COOK for 15 to 20 mins

7. LET the CHESTNUTS to be 90% cooked

8. PUT HALF AMOUNT of CHESTNUTS into the cooking essentials together with PORK BELLY in the first begining

9. Last 10 mins of well cooking the Bork Belly, PUT NEXT HALF AMOUNT of CHESTNUTS into the nearly well cooked PORK BELLY.

10. Let the DISHES have the whole chestnuts to eat and see

* If you like to add chinese mushrooms, please use warm water to soup it for 30 mins, let it soft and

 wash it and cut into pieces for use later 

 

Other Preparing works:

cut the onion, ginger, Spring Onion for use later

 

[ COOKING METHOD ] 

After the Preparing work:

11. Prepare the cooking essential with the top cover, possible to cook under the fire over 1 hour

12. Turn on the high level of fire, PUT the cooking oil, PUT all Spring Onion, Onion, Gingers into the hot oil for stir flying

13. Put the PORK BELLY into the cooking essential

14. Put the HALF AMOUNT of Chestnuts/ chinese mushrooms into the PORK BELLY

15. PUT the OSYTER SAUCES with 2 Tsp Water into the PORK BELLY

16. PUT ROCK SUGAR into the PORK BELLY

17. PUT THE WATER let it cover the PORK BELLY

 18. COVER the cooking essentials and Turn the FIRE LEVEL to MIDDLE and LOW

 19. KEEP Check in every 15 mins, ensure enough water for STEWing PORK BELLY

20. Last 20 mins before well cooked this dishes, PUT ALL Chestnuts into the PORK BELLY

21. Last 5 mins, Please taste it; If you like, please add little salt.
